Aussie pop princess Kylie Minogue announced Tuesday the dates for her upcoming "Aphrodite - Live 2011" tour.
The tour will begin April 28 in Montreal and run through May 22 where Kylie will close the tour at the legendary Colosseum at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, NV. Kylie's world tour starts February 19 in Denmark and will play in arenas throughout Europe & Japan before hitting Canada, U.S. and Mexico. Pre-sale tickets for the U.S. leg of the tour begin on January 14 for American Express cardholders and Kylie's fanbase with public on sale beginning January 22.
"The reaction to 'Aphrodite' has been absolutely incredible and has inspired me and my creative team to develop a new show that will take all of us on a euphoric journey of joy, excitement and glamour. I can't wait to get on the road and see all my fans in 2011," Kylie said in a press release.
In the fall of 2009 Kylie stormed America to sell out her first ever North American tour. The 6-city tour kicked off in Oakland and made stops in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto and New York, wowing fans and critics alike at each stop. After the run-away success of the last tour Kylie will be presenting the North American version of "Aphrodite - Live 2011" in more intimate rooms in the States, where possible, including a much anticipated return to the Hammerstein Ballroom in NY and the Hollywood Bowl in LA.
